Do Looks Matter?

I am the type of girl who genuinely doesn’t find a guy hot until I get to know him. If he has a great personality, then I start noticing the physically attractive features. Every once and a while I will be very infatuated with a guy but I don’t ever want to talk to him, because I know the moment he says something I will see that his personality isn’t great and I won’t find him attractive anymore. I call it “Knowing that your a Hot Guy” Syndrome. Does this happen to anyone else?

Looks are not the most important thing but if you don’t find the person attractive will you take the time to allow yourself to see their personality? That doesn’t mean that they don’t become more attractive the more you get to know their personality

i have that exact same problem, and even though looks do matter , they shouldn’t be the first thing you’re looking for in a guy. that is why i really don’t believe in love at first site, because if you love them right away, you’re really only in love with their looks, aren’t you?
